This spicy clove and juicy orange bath bomb is topped with a whipped cocoa butter 'frosting'.

Combining orange and clove into a pomander is a centuries long tradition.  Spiced pomanders were first mentioned in literature in the mid-thirteenth century.  Pomanders were used as a protection against infection in times of pestilence or merely as a useful article to modify bad smells.  The modern version of creating a pomander includes studding an orange with clove buds and letting it dry, after which it may last many, many years. This modern pomander serves the functions of perfuming and freshening the air and of keeping drawers of clothing and linens fresh, pleasant-smelling, and moth-free.

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda), Citric Acid, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Tapioca Starch, Apricot Kernal Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, water soluble colorant, fragrance.

The color is created from a combination of water soluble colorants (in other words - they mix in the water and won't stain your skin or tub).  Any errant colorant flecks wash off easily with a wet washcloth. Mini bath bomb -  weighs 2.5 oz. each
